wonder how much that’s going for on ebay, lol?

I knew these toys existed but I could never find them in any of my local stores. BSG was my thing, and I would have loved this.

Damn, everybody on this thread is pretty cool. lol. I miss those years, ladies and gentlemen. 76-82. It was innocent and toys ruled the day.
Let’s face it when Duran Duran came out. It was time to grow up and go on a date. : ) lol. For those of you with kids. it’s fun to be reminisce, I know. just bring your kids to a regional flea market or professional collector’s show and you can have a blast. Spending time with your kids. Very American, indeed.

hehe. yeah, for sure. check out that Millenium Falcon brother. It’s come a long way since the one we grew up with in the 70′s and 80′s. remember? that thing was a glorified doll house. This one is awesome.

  6. quietpopcorn says:

lol Meijer. I forgot about that place. That’s not such a major place since it’s only in 5 states.

  7. axel4196 says:

Also, the original toys caused at least one child fatality….I saw the newscast back in the 70′s…A toddler placed one of the Viper fighter toys in his mouth….The projectile was fired and it lodged in his throat. He died. The redesigned toys do not launch missiles.

  8. loft107 says:

the typical death toys we loved as boys in the ’70s designed to choke, put out eyes and generally cause pain and destruction … lol

  9. rickmarctl says:

    lololololol that rulez

  10. dragonmancse says:

yeah but now people say’s that it is better for kids to have “educational” toys. Or to put them in front of the computer for them to learn thingd (yeah right, what things ??? like violence in games and free sex vids?)

Man buy them books and some real stuff like At-At walker and viper launch so they can get the real fun (in hurting others accidentently and then get the toys confiscated ^^)

  11. dragonmancse says:

lol i did that yesterday ^^

  12. PoPoNellie says:

I so wanted this. My father said he couldn’t find me one in time for Christmas that year so he got me 3 of the Colonial vipers and 3 cylon raider toys with the firing missles. Later my Grandparents got me a rocket base toy that used the same Tuflite material for the missles.

  13. rickmarctl says:

I remember when toys were more dangerous they were more fun. I had a lever action rifle that was made out of stamped steel with all kinds of sharp edges. My brother and I would stick bottle rockets in the barrel and light them and then aim it towards the neighbors house.lolol..juvenile delinquents rule!

  14. sjl62 says:

As I recall, these things put kids’ eyes out and caused their parents to sue George Lucas because they had confused BG with Star Wars.

  15. rjkral says:

WOW I HAD THAT TOO. I FORGOT ABOUT THIS!!! Them were GOOD TIMES BABY!!!!!

  16. FMAStudent says:

dude, go to a major retail store like Wal Mart or Meijer and you will find a souped up modern version of the Millenium Falcon. No shit, it’s like 50 bucks. Man, I feel like having a kid so I can have an excuse to buy one ! lol.

  17. IPproxybaby says:

I still have mine – in the box!

  18. supramental says:

I think i had this one. I would shoot it at people and cause some damage! Toys back then had some risk factor to them. That was the real deal!

  19. tapedog says:

    DAMN!! I WANTED THAT!!& the AT-AT Walker!!

  20. martinihoudini says:

Man, I miss the days when toys could give you a black eye.

  21. pdex2165 says:
