   haha Iv seen a mate of mine playing at a concert with a new pair of ahead sticks and they snapped!! what are the chances lol!! I personally prefer the feel of wood ^_^

   Which kind of sucks.
   I hate those sticks. They can be the best sticks you’ve ever played with, or the worst. So many qualities about them just absolutely suck, and vice versa. Confusing drumsticks lol

   If you do a lot of snare rim shots, they will kill those sticks in 2 months or less.

    Well, this commercial is just an old school project. I think it was done in 1992 the year that Easton Ahead sticks had just come out. In realilty, Ahead sticks have an alminum core with a plastic sleeve and nylon tip. They are not unbreakable because once heavy playing destroys the aluminum core under the sleeve, the stick will snap in half. They will however last about 10x as long as a wood stick from my experience.
