This is from 1979, and linguist Marc Okrand didn’t develop the language until later, most notably for ST3: TSFS (1984). I imagine this actor is speaking gibberish.

Wow… I think this is the first time someone tried to make the Klingon language without direction. I think that it wasn’t really developed till Search for Spock.
