The caption at the end states “Crossed out prices were charged in many Tesco stores INCLUDING STEVENAGE” Why single them out? Did the town have a reputation for ripping people off or something? Was their Tesco sh*t?? Who knows!!!

I’m gathering Tesco is in England? I’m in the states & have nver heard of it. But I see Pedigree dog food had brand called “Chum.” That’s hilarious, I’m thinking the stuff they lure sharks with. You open the can (tin) and it’s all fish heads, intestines, scales, and blood.
one opened near holloway road north london a FEW DAYS AGO.
7pm on a saturday night theres 6 tills and only 2 of them open and q’d for 5 minutes.

Fuck tesco, i live in Nottingham and we have 7, count them 7!!! just in the city centre. I wouldnt be surpirised if there were 100 in Nottinghamshire alone…

Back in 1982 wages were a lot lower so these prices were not cheap! also the early 80′s were a tough time millions unemployed, people forget how hard times could be back then.
However love to go back to 1982, was only 10 back then, but I was lucky my family were quite well off, but millions were not!

Our store in winchester has has a huge refit and its now a tesco extra. Full of extra shite.
@HGbunny lol…actually the supermarket called Asda is much much worseI think Walmart controls that as well.

@buttershex It’s the same everywhere. there are 20 in Cardiff alone. Tecso are of the mindset that if you are going to spend money, they want to make damn sure you spend it with them. but what happens when there isnt any competition left?

@HGbunny Yes, you are correct, Tesco are intent on world domination. they now have a presence in Europe and are trying to break into the US as well. Although the UK is a small Island, £1 in every £7 spent here is with Tesco. not content with a supermarket in every town, they have sometimes up to 20. They are the killer of high street small business.
