A short aircheck of Captain Fantastic with commercials from the legendary KAKC in Tulsa, OK in the Fall of 1974. Recorded when I was 13 on a cheap Mayfair tape recorder. My apologies for the very rough sound quality, though I did try to clean up the audio using sound forge’s EQ and Noise Reduction. The last time I heard the Captian on KAKC was in the spring of 1976.. and then I remember hearing him as “Derrek St. Johns” (or something close to it) on Superfox 103 KTFX in 1978. If anyone has any info on him and what happened to the Captain, or have any rare 60’s/70’s airchecks of KAKC, keli and KTFX in their Top 40 days let me know. I’d Love to hear them! Cadillac ‘74 with Arnold Palmer–The King was right! Tennis ISN’T his best game! But that’s a nice El Dorado! 3. Wilson Autograph Series Tennis Rackets–I remember playing with those wooden ones (Mine was the Billie Jean King special) 4. Sunbeam Self-Cleaning Shot of Steam Iron–Whoosh! Look at that steam! Back in the days when irons were heavy, but lasted for years! 5. Rockwell International–EG Marshall shows us what Rockwell’s involved in: car parts, airplanes, textiles, power tools.
