This commercial is for Violet Crumble”, which is owned by The Nestle Company. Violet Crumble has been around since 1913, and was originally owned by Hoadley & Rountree. This amusing ad shows a couple going to the movies and an annoying friend trying to tell them the plot of the movie. To drown out his voice they eat their Violet Crumble and the caption is nothing else matters. This ad was broadcast in 1987 du ring a TV show called Highway to Heaven, on Adelaide TV station SAS-10.
