Shot by film-maker & producer Alan Yentob in the Los Angeles aera during August-September 1974. Broadcast on BBC in January 1975. It was never officially released (for some reason) on any format to this day, despite its commercial potential due to Bowie’s fame. Arguably, when Bowie passes away, this will be remembered as the best documentary ever made about him, although it encompasses a very short and specific period in his career (yet an immensely crazy and interesting period that was…). Enjoy it in very good quality.
