Madonn’a hit songs and videos had been about love, devotion, and searching for the latest party. She ought to make an excellent spokesperson to reach teenage consumers. So ran the thoughts of executives at Pepsi-Cola when they began pursuing Madonna for their 1989 celebrity commercials. In December 1988, Coca-Cola announced that it had signed George Michael to sell its pop to the public, and the gears started to turn. Wayne Simmons – Solo Groovin tv ad ‘Classic!’ NBL NBA

Just check out that cd cover, classic! Wayne tried hard to promote this CD in 1994 with prime time tv ads and telethon appearances promoting his new album ‘Solo Groovin’ and 1st single ‘Reggae Beat’ filmed on a budget around Perth, Western Australia. It also yielded a 2nd single ‘Tragedy’ which you can see on the other ‘Solo Groovin’ ad I uploaded. It flopped on the charts, but Waynes enthusiasm for this project, his talent and a ‘Windows Paint’ CD sleeve with 2 crap videoclips created …
