Paramount Home Video Holiday 1993 Promos
March 12th, 2010Here is a video clip that’s been stuck in my head for my entire life: the promos from any Paramount video that you might’ve purchased at mcdonald’s during the holidays of 1993. The first promo is a preview of upcoming movies for 1994. The mentioned movies are Blue Chips, Clear and Present Danger, and The Naked Gun III: The Final Insult, which was probably a working title. I love the music at the end of the entire preview. It sounds so triumphant. The next promo has George Takei of Star Trek explaining that the coupon that came with the video you purchased can take .50 off the sale price or .00 off the rental price of any Paramount video. Last but not least, the classic “Feature Presentation” buffer. I took this off The Addams Family, which belongs to a friend of mine. I could’ve taken this off of my copy of Charlotte’s Web, but I couldn’t do so, because at the beginning, it’s not in good shape enough to get the best quality for this video clip. Still, I think you’ll enjoy it as much as I do. TM & Copyright 1993 Paramount Home Entertainment
