It was written by Paul Schrader of "Taxi Driver" fame and starred Tommy Lee Jones in one of his earliest screen performances. It also pleased a small amount of critics, with Gene Siskel listing it on his "Ten best films of 1977" and several modern day critics praising its superiority as a deathwish film.

Nu 32 jaar later komt deze Lp uit op CD aangevuld met 12 tracks uit dezelfde periode.
